The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Achim Dohr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mario Jehle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Happach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Hillenbrand kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Mario Jehle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achim Dohr in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Borr's Chris Hillenbrand got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Sven Happach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Borr's Mario Jehle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achim Dohr in the 19th minute of play. When Elmar Asbeck fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bielsieker FC's protests and gave Elmar Asbeck a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes Bielsieker FC got a freekick which was hit by Elmar Asbeck. Benjamin Saborowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Stanislaw Klerings tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Sven Happach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Jehle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Borr's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Happach came free, but Mario Jehle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bielsieker FC's Achim Dohr in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Borr's goalie prevented a goal.

In the 59th minute, Benjamin Saborowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Harry Rogatty fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bielsieker FC's protests and gave Harry Rogatty a yellow card for diving instead. Harry Rogatty hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Sven Happach came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mario Jehle could save by the left post. Mario Jehle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven Happach in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Niko Kaminke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Sven Happach notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Borr's Mario Jehle. Mario Jehle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjamin Saborowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanislaw Klerings read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Achim Dohr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borr's Mario Jehle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Borr from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute Achim Dohr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Jehle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bielsieker FC booed when Borr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Hillenbrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Borr's zone, Achim Dohr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Jehle came out of the goal and Achim Dohr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Bielsieker FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bielsieker FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
