Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 159) Thomas Haraszti started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Caspar Finkel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Thomas Haraszti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Gönner was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The supporters of Blauenstein FC booed when Holzbein Kiel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirin Saur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduard Gönner came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Holzbein Kiel's Thomas Haraszti. But to his dismay, Thomas Haraszti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Thomas Haraszti came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Holzbein Kiel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thomas Haraszti couldn't finish the play. If Thomas Haraszti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thomas Haraszti in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Gönner saved Blauenstein FC from getting behind. Mark Saak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rob Bornscheuer went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Pascal Vester notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Blauenstein FC's Eduard Gönner. Eduard Gönner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Holzbein Kiel were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boris Kuhlmann to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Blauenstein FC's goalkeeper Eduard Gönner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Haraszti. If Thomas Haraszti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Haraszti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Eduard Gönner made a huge save. In the 62nd match minute, Blauenstein FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Brüggmann to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Blauenstein FC's goalkeeper Eduard Gönner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Haraszti. Thomas Haraszti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Eduard Gönner made a huge save. With a little luck, Blauenstein FC's Eduard Gönner got control of the ball when Pascal Vester tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Pascal Vester came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Holzbein Kiel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Vester couldn't finish the play. Holzbein Kiel's Arvid Knüwe was substituted for Thomas Haraszti. After a rather tough play, Blauenstein FC's Berko Wächter got a free kick in the 91st minute. Pascal Vester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Eduard Gönner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arvid Knüwe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Eduard Gönner 96 minutes into the match. Holzbein Kiel's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
