Spectators: 7330 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1830, VIP seats: 0) 2 minutes into the game, Gunter Urbanek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pleysteiner Landeier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blauenstein FC the free kick. After 8 played minutes Pleysteiner Landeier got a freekick which was hit by Gunter Urbanek. Boris Kuhlmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Rob Bornscheuer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Grabs was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Pleysteiner Landeier's Manuel Grabs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Bornscheuer in the 24th minute of play. Boris Kuhlmann took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Grabs. Manuel Grabs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Niko Sombrutzki hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Ingo Waidner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Eduard Gönner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 34th minute of the match Pleysteiner Landeier got a corner. Blauenstein FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Matthias Hutter ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ingo Waidner got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eduard Gönner quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Swen Kwon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Bornscheuer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Grabs having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Swen Kwon made the kick off in the second half. Swen Kwon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eduard Gönner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Pleysteiner Landeier got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Hutter. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Rob Bornscheuer put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Manuel Grabs. In the 79th minute, Niko Sombrutzki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Blauenstein FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niko Sombrutzki to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Kuhlmann in the 87th minute of play forced Pleysteiner Landeier's goalkeeper Manuel Grabs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Boris Kuhlmann in the 90th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Manuel Grabs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrich Brüggmann in the 93rd minute. Rob Bornscheuers short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Manuel Grabs to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Blauenstein FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
