Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingo Waidner in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Huppertz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Pleysteiner Landeier's Manuel Grabs got control of the ball when Albert Miersch tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Miersch got free with Manuel Grabs in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arne Fabry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Grabs having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Arne Fabry rounded Pleysteiner Landeier's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. In the 28thth minute of the game Ingo Waidner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Bauar Köln's Peter Huppertz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Miersch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Miersch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Grabs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Manuel Grabs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Fabry in the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Albert Miersch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bauar Köln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Miersch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Ingo Waidner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Peter Huppertz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Albert Miersch notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pleysteiner Landeier's Manuel Grabs. Manuel Grabs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thorsten Muring kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Miersch in the 67th minute of play forced Pleysteiner Landeier's goalkeeper Manuel Grabs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the game, Ibrahim Kirchner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pleysteiner Landeier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Bauar Köln the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pleysteiner Landeier's Ibrahim Kirchner got a free kick in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Miersch in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Grabs saved Pleysteiner Landeier from getting behind. Pleysteiner Landeier's Manuel Grabs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arne Fabry in the 85th minute of play. Albert Miersch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Miersch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Grabs having to make a save. Horst Machold's late challenge caught a SV Bauar Köln's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horst Machold helped the player get up and apologised. Horst Machold kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Pleysteiner Landeier's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
