Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Statham 96's Franz Kilz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frieder Eckhardt in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Statham 96's goalkeeper Augustin Schneider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Murat Hoffmeier came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC Statham 96 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murat Hoffmeier couldn't finish the play. Alfred Ratzmann scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augustin Schneider, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Franz Kilz struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Werner Bürsch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Statham 96. The audience was convinced that Franz Kilz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Werner Bürsch was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Werner Bürsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murat Hoffmeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Augustin Schneider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy Wenzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Murat Hoffmeier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werner Bürsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Kilz in the 48th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jeremy Wenzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augustin Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Wenzel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Alfred Ratzmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute Noel Irtel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Bürsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Alfred Ratzmann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Augustin Schneider was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Franz Kilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Statham 96! The referee gave Unterhaching a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reinhold Jadamowitz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider. 3-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of FC Statham 96:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Unterhaching:s goal. A collision led to FC Statham 96 getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Noel Irtel hit a great ball.
