In the 4th minute, Berko Ilius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hammelbach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Maximus Eichhorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Kliesch, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Adé Hinz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximus Eichhorn. Hammelbach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adé Hinz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The supporters of Gönnjamin FC booed when Hammelbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasper Jetzek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Iker Kliesch's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximus Eichhorn was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 20 minutes into the match, Hammelbach's goal looked a bit too open when Adé Hinz came free, but Maximus Eichhorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Adé Hinz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximus Eichhorn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Kliesch in the 33rd minute of play forced Hammelbach's goalkeeper Maximus Eichhorn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heini Plath received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximus Eichhorn came out and tried to block the shot, but Heini Plath slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Hammelbach defense, Heini Plath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximus Eichhorn. The Hammelbach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximus Eichhorn should have stopped the shot. When Berko Ilius fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammelbach's protests and gave Berko Ilius a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the match, Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximus Eichhorn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vahid Buth charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vahid Buth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Hammelbach's goal looked a bit too open when Heini Plath came free, but Maximus Eichhorn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Hammelbach defense, Heini Plath kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximus Eichhorn. The Hammelbach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximus Eichhorn should have stopped the shot. Perry Hertel hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gerd Brandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hernan Boskamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerd Brandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hammelbach's Maximus Eichhorn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heini Plath in the 68th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Adé Hinz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximus Eichhorn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. When Perry Hertel fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gönnjamin FC's protests and gave Perry Hertel a yellow card for diving instead. Perry Hertel hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Vahid Buth came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hammelbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahid Buth couldn't finish the play. Gönnjamin FC's Hernan Boskamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Brandes in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Heini Plath ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximus Eichhorn was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Maximus Eichhorn came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath. But to his dismay, Heini Plath quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Maximus Eichhorn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adé Hinz, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the referee ended the match the Gönnjamin FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
