Spectators: 8021 (Terracing: 6018, Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bert Kliemt kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, FC Wesseling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Drostel to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute Didico Jonen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egidius Seyler had great luck who in the 8thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rolf Sonntag from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Sonntag in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egidius Seyler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to FC Wesseling getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Niklas Drostel hit a great ball. When Robin Lüpke came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the FC Regental fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Lüpke couldn't finish the play. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Hahnen in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Uwe Luthardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bert Kliemt came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC Regental fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Kliemt couldn't finish the play. Afonso Santarém showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bert Kliemt in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Bert Kliemt made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Santarém. FC Wesseling's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Wesseling's zone, Bert Kliemt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afonso Santarém came out of the goal and Bert Kliemt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Müntefering hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Wesseling booed when FC Regental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bert Kliemt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Santarém read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Hahnen in the 42nd minute of play. Robin Lüpke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Rolf Sonntag made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes FC Wesseling got a freekick which was hit by Ahmed Pflug. Egidius Seyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Sonntag in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Kliemt in the 61st minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, FC Wesseling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Sonntag to maneuver through the defense. Bert Kliemt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Afonso Santarém came out and tried to block the shot, but Bert Kliemt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 74th minute. FC Regental's Egidius Seyler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Sonntag in the 79th minute of play. Didico Jonen came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Afonso Santarém could save by the left post. Afonso Santarém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Didico Jonen in the 85th minute. Didico Jonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
