After having played for 9 minutes, Balan Gonzáles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortuna Dresden FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balan Gonzáles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Frank Cremer-Ricken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fortuna Dresden FC defense, Halil Ratkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Franke. The Fortuna Dresden FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Franke should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Niko Kalweit made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Franke. Fortuna Dresden FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Benjamin Franke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Cremer-Ricken went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Halil Ratkowski took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Franke. Benjamin Franke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Benjamin Franke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Halil Ratkowski went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Benjamin Franke came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham Saray FC's Halil Ratkowski. But to his dismay, Halil Ratkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Halil Ratkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benjamin Franke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Fortuna Dresden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Corleone to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Franke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Kalweit in the 38th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Serkan Gaar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gotham Saray FC and the Fortuna Dresden FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Benjamin Franke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Cremer-Ricken in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomáš Bacho to make the kick off. Frank Cremer-Ricken scored 0-8 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Franke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iljaz Çela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balan Gonzáles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faudel Houllier took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iljaz Çela. Iljaz Çela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. Fortuna Dresden FC's Benjamin Franke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Fortuna Dresden FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Gotham Saray FC's Halil Ratkowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-9. Halil Ratkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Franke having to interfere. Tomáš Bacho hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Frank Cremer-Ricken's late challenge caught a Fortuna Dresden FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frank Cremer-Ricken helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gotham Saray FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Frank Cremer-Ricken hit a great ball. Benjamin Franke made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Frank Cremer-Ricken sent off a good shot on target. When Gotham Saray FC's Halil Ratkowski in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortuna Dresden FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute, Tomáš Bacho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fortuna Dresden FC's Benjamin Franke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Fortuna Dresden FC from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Franke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serkan Gaar went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-11 was the resulting score. 92 minutes in the game, Serkan Gaar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benjamin Franke having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halil Ratkowski in the 93rd minute of play forced Fortuna Dresden FC's goalkeeper Benjamin Franke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halil Ratkowski got free with Benjamin Franke in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gotham Saray FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
