Spectators: 8121 (Terracing: 6093, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 161) Rolf Sonntag started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's goal looked a bit too open when Serkan Gaar came free, but Afonso Santarém reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Cremer-Ricken in the 4th minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leik Blumenthal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the game, Frank Cremer-Ricken cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Afonso Santarém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Afonso Santarém came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Gotham Saray FC's Frank Cremer-Ricken. But to his dismay, Frank Cremer-Ricken quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 13 minutes of play, Gotham Saray FC's Frank Cremer-Ricken made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Afonso Santarém was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the game, Niko Kalweit cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Afonso Santarém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Niko Kalweit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Afonso Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 22 in the game by Rolf Sonntag from a close distance when the talented Iljaz Çela managed to make a qualified save. Gotham Saray FC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Gotham Saray FC's Immanuel Schommer got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Serkan Gaar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Afonso Santarém was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serkan Gaar in the 30th minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st match minute, FC Wesseling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürkan Yurtseven to maneuver through the defense. Afonso Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serkan Gaar in the 32nd minute of play. Afonso Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Cremer-Ricken, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Rolf Sonntag scored 1-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iljaz Çela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serkan Gaar in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afonso Santarém saved FC Wesseling from getting behind. Gotham Saray FC's Frank Cremer-Ricken got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Afonso Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serkan Gaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém got control of the ball when Halil Ratkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Gotham Saray FC's Afonso Santarém threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Serkan Gaar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Halil Ratkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Afonso Santarém made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolf Sonntag in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iljaz Çela saved Gotham Saray FC from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Cremer-Ricken. With a little luck, FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém got control of the ball when Halil Ratkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Santarém showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halil Ratkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Halil Ratkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Afonso Santarém made a huge save. In the 69th minute, Gotham Saray FC's Niko Kalweit dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. With a little luck, FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém got control of the ball when Frank Cremer-Ricken tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afonso Santarém made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halil Ratkowski in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolf Sonntag in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iljaz Çela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 minutes, Rolf Sonntag made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. Gotham Saray FC's Iljaz Çela tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Halil Ratkowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Afonso Santarém firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gotham Saray FC were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after FC Wesseling's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leik Blumenthal took the corner. Gotham Saray FC's Leik Blumenthal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Afonso Santarém in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Afonso Santarém didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frank Cremer-Ricken went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. FC Wesseling's Afonso Santarém proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save FC Wesseling from getting a goal against them. Afonso Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Halil Ratkowski in the 90th minute of play. Afonso Santarém made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Kalweit in the 91st minute of play. Iljaz Çela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Sonntag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Niko Kalweit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Afonso Santarém was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-8. Gotham Saray FC played a much better game than FC Wesseling and deserved their victory. The FC Wesseling players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
