Spectators: 7981 (Terracing: 5987, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 159) FC Wesseling's Rolf Sonntag started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heiner Kasperczyk's late challenge caught a FC Wesseling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heiner Kasperczyk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Lüllingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiner Kasperczyk to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Rolf Sonntag put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dejan Fiedler. After 7 played minutes Lüllingen got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Machleid. 18 minutes into the game, Ahmed Pflug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wesseling's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lüllingen the free kick. Ahmed Pflug hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th match minute, Lüllingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heiner Kasperczyk to maneuver through the defense. Dejan Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Sonntag in the 23rd minute of the match. Afonso Santarém came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Lüllingen's Elias Funk. But to his dismay, Elias Funk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmed Pflug got free with Dejan Fiedler in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolf Sonntag who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Dejan Fiedler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dejan Fiedler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmed Pflug in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Rebsch in the 35th minute of play forced FC Wesseling's goalkeeper Afonso Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dejan Fiedler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Till Stöhr in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Lüllingen getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Roman Rebsch hit a great ball. Dejan Fiedler made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Rolf Sonntag sent off a good shot on target. 46 minutes into the game, FC Wesseling's Hans Müntefering nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dejan Fiedler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Funk was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Rolf Sonntag who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lüllingen's Dejan Fiedler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Till Stöhr scored 4-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dejan Fiedler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lüllingen's Dejan Fiedler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Sonntag in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute Ahmed Pflug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Fiedler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dejan Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Till Stöhr in the 62nd minute of the match. When Rolf Sonntag came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Wesseling fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolf Sonntag couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Lüllingen's Uwe-Jens Scherer got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Dejan Fiedler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmed Pflug went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Silvano Goldsche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dejan Fiedler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Müntefering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Müntefering in the 85th minute of play forced Lüllingen's goalkeeper Dejan Fiedler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Till Stöhr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wesseling's supporters crossed their fingers, but Till Stöhr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 88 minutes, Rolf Sonntag made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lüllingen's Dejan Fiedler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolf Sonntag struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Dejan Fiedler didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Wesseling. Silvano Goldsche hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. FC Wesseling's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
