Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Petrus Bodenschmidt started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Thomas Patzelt made a precise shot to the right of Torsten Raimann. SC West's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Franz Kilz managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Statham 96's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Kilz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torsten Raimann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torsten Raimann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Hoffmeier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, SC West's Olivier Quoos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olivier Quoos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC West protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olivier Quoos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. If Petrus Bodenschmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, FC Statham 96's Thomas Patzelt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Raimann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Dieter Euschen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torsten Raimann. SC West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieter Euschen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Clint Neuendorf kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After 36 minutes of play, FC Statham 96's Thomas Patzelt made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Raimann was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Dieter Euschen came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the FC Statham 96 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieter Euschen couldn't finish the play. Torsten Raimann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Patzelt in the 42nd minute of the match. Murat Hoffmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torsten Raimann came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Statham 96's Dieter Euschen. But to his dismay, Dieter Euschen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the match, SC West's goalkeeper Torsten Raimann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murat Hoffmeier. Torsten Raimann was a little too slow when Franz Kilz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 56th match minute, FC Statham 96 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clint Neuendorf to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Petrus Bodenschmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jaime Gutsche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes SC West got a freekick which was hit by Guntram Stemmer. After having played for 65 minutes, Franz Kilz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Statham 96's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franz Kilz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, SC West's Torsten Raimann got control of the ball when Murat Hoffmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augustin Schneider took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrus Bodenschmidt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörg Osmers hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Franz Kilz hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Thomas Patzelt notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of SC West's Torsten Raimann. Torsten Raimann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dieter Euschen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC West's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Murat Hoffmeier was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Statham 96's players had a chance to rest. FC Statham 96's Murat Hoffmeier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Torsten Raimann in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Murat Hoffmeier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Torsten Raimann made a huge save.
