Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomáš Bacho got the match started through his kick off. Fortuna Dresden FC's Benjamin Franke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Haaf in the 4th minute of play. Schachthalden's Uwe-Jens Kretschmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Schachthalden from getting a goal against them. In the 9th match minute, Fortuna Dresden FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carter Caretti to maneuver through the defense. In the 12thth minute of the game Balan Gonzáles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schachthalden's Uwe-Jens Kretschmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Schachthalden's Rodolfo Rubeck got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute Leopold Thieme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Franke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Schachthalden's Uwe-Jens Kretschmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balan Gonzáles in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Tomáš Bacho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balan Gonzáles in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Uwe-Jens Kretschmann saved Schachthalden from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goal looked a bit too open when Faudel Houllier came free, but Uwe-Jens Kretschmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ryan Bayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 32nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Balan Gonzáles. In the 34th minute, Benedikt Mackowiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carter Caretti took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uwe-Jens Kretschmann. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goal looked a bit too open when Faudel Houllier came free, but Uwe-Jens Kretschmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Schachthalden's Uwe-Jens Kretschmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Schachthalden from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nils Haaf made a kick off. Leopold Thieme hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Balan Gonzáles came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Fortuna Dresden FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balan Gonzáles couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Balan Gonzáles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortuna Dresden FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Balan Gonzáles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodolfo Rubeck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Benjamin Franke made a huge save. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomáš Bacho went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faudel Houllier, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Benjamin Franke made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rodolfo Rubeck sent off a good shot on target. Benjamin Franke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Haaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Röbert came free, but Uwe-Jens Kretschmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carter Caretti kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Caretti in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Balan Gonzáles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe-Jens Kretschmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rodolfo Rubeck fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schachthalden's protests and gave Rodolfo Rubeck a yellow card for diving instead. Carter Caretti scored 5-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uwe-Jens Kretschmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute Tomáš Bacho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe-Jens Kretschmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Franke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Rubeck went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Faudel Houllier took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uwe-Jens Kretschmann. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fortuna Dresden FC fully deserved thier win.
