In the 13th minute, Schachthalden's Nils Haaf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Egidius Seyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Haaf in the 17th minute of play. Egidius Seyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Haaf in the 20th minute of the match. FC Regental's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Nils Haaf scored to the left of an out of position Egidius Seyler, making the score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Schachthalden's Niklas Christen got a free kick in the 26th minute. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Hahnen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd match minute, FC Regental was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Kasseckert to maneuver through the defense. Egidius Seyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Haaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Schachthalden's Uwe-Jens Kretschmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didico Jonen in the 37th minute of play. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Hahnen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Robin Lüpke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uwe-Jens Kretschmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egidius Seyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Haaf in the 42nd minute of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Robin Lüpke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Regental's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Lüpke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, FC Regental's Didico Jonen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Nils Haaf made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, FC Regental's Bert Kliemt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Bert Kliemt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uwe-Jens Kretschmann having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Didico Jonen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Regental fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Egidius Seyler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Haaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, FC Regental's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Thieme came free, but Egidius Seyler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Rubeck in the 71st minute of play forced FC Regental's goalkeeper Egidius Seyler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Hahnen in the 75th minute of play. Josef Kramer kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Didico Jonen came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Uwe-Jens Kretschmann could save by the left post. Uwe-Jens Kretschmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Kliemt in the 78th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goalkeeper Uwe-Jens Kretschmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Didico Jonen.
