After a rather tough play, SC West's Vicco Pickart got a free kick in the 33rd minute. SC West's Petrus Bodenschmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Gutsche charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Gutsche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th match minute, SC West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Gutsche to maneuver through the defense. Torsten Raimann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcello Burkart, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petrus Bodenschmidt was the one to do the kick off. SC West's attentive Vicco Pickart managed to snatch the ball when Vahid Buth made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Kasper Jetzek came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by SC West's Petrus Bodenschmidt. But to his dismay, Petrus Bodenschmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hammelbach's Kasper Jetzek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petrus Bodenschmidt in the 61st minute of play. Vahid Buth made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SC West's Vicco Pickart. Kay von der Schulenburg kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Petrus Bodenschmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Hammelbach's Artur Czerwinski got a free kick in the 68th minute. Berko Ilius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Torsten Raimann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Berko Ilius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolfgang Schockenhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Hammelbach's zone, Petrus Bodenschmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kasper Jetzek came out of the goal and Petrus Bodenschmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berko Ilius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Torsten Raimann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berko Ilius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Torsten Raimann made a huge save. Marcello Burkart hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Hammelbach were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing SC West to leave the ground with a draw.
