Spectators: 8053 (Terracing: 6041, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 160) Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Pit Theiss in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Regental's Uwe Luthardt. Adé Hinz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Egidius Seyler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Boskamp was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Bert Kliemt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bert Kliemt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 15th minute Bert Kliemt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Boskamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Heini Plath put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Egidius Seyler. After 21 minutes, Uwe Luthardt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Regental and the Gönnjamin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes FC Regental got a freekick which was hit by Uwe Luthardt. After 22 played minutes, Gönnjamin FC's Tobias Rehmet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Egidius Seyler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gönnjamin FC reached it. Egidius Seyler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iker Kliesch's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Bert Kliemt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Regental's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gönnjamin FC the free kick. Didico Jonen hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Gönnjamin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Kliemt came free, but Hernan Boskamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Trutz Rathje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gönnjamin FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Bert Kliemt scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Boskamp, making the score, 2-1. Didico Jonen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Hernan Boskamp made a huge save. With a little luck, Gönnjamin FC's Hernan Boskamp got control of the ball when Sebastian Krupp tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Gönnjamin FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Trutz Rathje hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bert Kliemt to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC Regental booed when Gönnjamin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pit Theiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egidius Seyler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heini Plath in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Kliemt in the 62nd minute of play forced Gönnjamin FC's goalkeeper Hernan Boskamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Kliemt was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. When Adé Hinz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Gönnjamin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adé Hinz couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Robin Lüpke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Gönnjamin FC booed when FC Regental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Jagow didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, FC Regental's Didico Jonen made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Boskamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robin Lüpke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didico Jonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hernan Boskamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sébastien Zach hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Hernan Boskamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didico Jonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didico Jonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Didico Jonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
