The supporters of Lüllingen booed when Gönnjamin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adé Hinz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 minutes of play Gönnjamin FC's Adé Hinz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After having played for 12 minutes, Moritz Machleid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lüllingen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moritz Machleid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lüllingen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Iker Kliesch scored to the left of an out of position Dejan Fiedler, making the score, 1-0. Elias Funk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hernan Boskamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Uwe-Jens Scherer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 minutes of play, Lüllingen's Hanno Voland made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Boskamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Tobias Rehmet came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Gönnjamin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Rehmet couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Funk was the one to do the kick off. Trutz Rathje made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tobias Rehmet immediately put the ball in play. Elias Funk's late challenge caught a Gönnjamin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Funk helped the player get up and apologised. After 69 minutes, Perry Hertel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gönnjamin FC and the Lüllingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Gönnjamin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Hertel to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Funk got free with Hernan Boskamp in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 74 played minutes Lüllingen got a freekick which was hit by Elias Funk. When Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lüllingen's goalie prevented a goal. If Heiner Kasperczyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gönnjamin FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sébastien Zach hit a great ball. Hernan Boskamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heiner Kasperczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Trutz Rathje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hanno Voland in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Boskamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lüllingen's Dejan Fiedler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Kliesch in the 93rd minute of play. Gönnjamin FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lüllingen for a fine match.
