Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jeremy Wenzel made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Jeremy Wenzel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lüllingen's Dejan Fiedler. Dejan Fiedler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lüllingen's Roman Rebsch got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dejan Fiedler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kassian Rutkowski in the 11th minute of play. Dejan Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frieder Eckhardt in the 15th minute of the match. Lüllingen's Dejan Fiedler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olaf Schulz in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jeremy Wenzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unterhaching fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Lüllingen's Elias Funk got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Unterhaching getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Frieder Eckhardt hit a great ball. Dejan Fiedler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Wenzel in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Olaf Schulz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dejan Fiedler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dejan Fiedler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremy Wenzel, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Funk in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Werner Bürsch saved Unterhaching from getting behind. After the first half Unterhaching were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Funk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Elias Funk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Werner Bürsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Funk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frieder Eckhardt kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Uwe-Jens Scherer's late challenge caught a Unterhaching's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uwe-Jens Scherer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lüllingen's Uwe-Jens Scherer got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dejan Fiedler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremy Wenzel in the 61st minute of play. Werner Bürsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Rebsch in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Lüllingen booed when Unterhaching was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frieder Eckhardt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frieder Eckhardt's late challenge caught a Lüllingen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Unterhaching's Olaf Schulz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dejan Fiedler. That made the score 1-4 after 73 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Rebsch in the 77th minute of play forced Unterhaching's goalkeeper Werner Bürsch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Unterhaching's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Funk came free, but Werner Bürsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Wenzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dejan Fiedler having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Dejan Fiedler successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 89 minutes into the match, Lüllingen's goalkeeper Dejan Fiedler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Ratzmann. After 89 played minutes Lüllingen got a freekick which was hit by Roman Rebsch. Moritz Machleid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Werner Bürsch having to interfere. The Lüllingen supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Unterhaching's performance. The match ended with a win for Unterhaching.
