Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pierre Bähnert in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Stinner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Franco Stinner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Bähnert in the 23rd minute of the match. Pierre Bähnert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Stinner read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Abdelaziz Bendel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philipp Gunselmann having to interfere. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed David Dronia the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kriebitzsch protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and David Dronia had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Henning Schwedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabrizio Neubrandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Uwe Jaschke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Franco Stinner having to make a save. If Uwe Jaschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perikles Windhausen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Uwe Jaschke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kriebitzsch's supporters rose to their feet, but Uwe Jaschke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Stinner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Fabrizio Neubrandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. After 61 played minutes Kriebitzsch got a freekick which was hit by Ibrahim Funk. After a defensive mix-up in Kosbach's zone, Toni Weckenmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Stinner came out of the goal and Toni Weckenmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Kosbach's Moritz Sitzmann got a free kick in the 68th minute. Fabrizio Neubrandt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Jaschke in the 89th minute of play forced Kosbach's goalkeeper Franco Stinner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabrizio Neubrandt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Franco Stinner made a huge save.
