Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jörg Wadehn took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wenzel Mrozewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Wadehn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Anton Konerding sped through Bortfeld's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Golo Nikoleit. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Konerding in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Golo Nikoleit saved Bortfeld from getting behind. Leroy Spott kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. FC Tomy 68's Wenzel Mrozewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save FC Tomy 68 from getting a goal against them. In the 28thth minute of the game Anton Konerding who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bortfeld's Golo Nikoleit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Heiko Waidler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Lutz Cohen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Tomy 68 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Bortfeld's Jörg Wadehn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wenzel Mrozewski. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Anton Konerding managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Tomy 68's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Konerding was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half FC Tomy 68 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Konerding was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Konerding in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Golo Nikoleit saved Bortfeld from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Lutz Cohen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Tomy 68's supporters rose to their feet, but Lutz Cohen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Golo Nikoleit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lutz Cohen got free with Golo Nikoleit in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jörg Wadehn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wenzel Mrozewski having to interfere. Wenzel Mrozewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiko Waidler, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Leroy Spott struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Golo Nikoleit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tomy 68. After some careless play in the FC Tomy 68 defense, Jörg Wadehn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wenzel Mrozewski. The FC Tomy 68 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wenzel Mrozewski should have stopped the shot. When Richard Rieger fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bortfeld's protests and gave Richard Rieger a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Bortfeld got a freekick which was hit by Richard Rieger. Bart Paetz kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lutz Cohen got free with Golo Nikoleit in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bortfeld's Golo Nikoleit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Bortfeld from getting a goal against them. Leroy Spott could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Golo Nikoleit made a huge save. Jörg Wadehn succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2. In the 93rd match minute, Bortfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wolf Debus to maneuver through the defense. Burkhard Schnitzler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bortfeld were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Tomy 68 for much of the match.
