Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jörg Wadehn got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Bortfeld's Gottfried Hollstein threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jörg Wadehn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Klemens Hemmel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Golo Nikoleit. Bortfeld's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute, Ulrich Rosenhagen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joga Bonito 1893 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Joga Bonito 1893 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ernst Stadler hit a great ball. With a little luck, Joga Bonito 1893's Gottfried Hollstein got control of the ball when Bart Paetz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Hetz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th match minute, Joga Bonito 1893 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Reymann to maneuver through the defense. Marco Hetz struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Golo Nikoleit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito 1893. Joga Bonito 1893's Gottfried Hollstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Waidler in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 played minutes Joga Bonito 1893 got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Hemmel. After 37 minutes, Klemens Hemmel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Joga Bonito 1893 and the Bortfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Heiko Waidler came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Bortfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heiko Waidler couldn't finish the play. Heiko Waidler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Gottfried Hollstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito 1893's goal looked a bit too open when Jörg Wadehn came free, but Gottfried Hollstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gottfried Hollstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Wadehn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito 1893's goal looked a bit too open when Wolf Debus came free, but Gottfried Hollstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 49 minutes Bortfeld's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Moritz Raucher who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Florian Brandt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The Bortfeld players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Joga Bonito 1893 were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Hetz made a kick off. Florian Brandt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Jörg Wadehn in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 63rd minute, Wolf Debus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gottfried Hollstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Moritz Raucher fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito 1893's protests and gave Moritz Raucher a yellow card for diving instead. Moritz Raucher kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Wolf Debus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerzy Walden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gottfried Hollstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolf Debus in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiko Waidler in the 84th minute of play forced Joga Bonito 1893's goalkeeper Gottfried Hollstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joga Bonito 1893's Gottfried Hollstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiko Waidler in the 87th minute of play. Gottfried Hollstein came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Bortfeld's Bart Paetz. But to his dismay, Bart Paetz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Gottfried Hollstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörg Wadehn in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Joga Bonito 1893 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Klemens Hemmel hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Bortfeld's Wolf Debus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gottfried Hollstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bortfeld had played much better football throughout.
