Berlin and the Joga Bonito 1893 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gottfried Hollstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Galen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Klemens Hemmel fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Joga Bonito 1893's protests and gave Klemens Hemmel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Joga Bonito 1893 getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Klemens Hemmel hit a great ball. If Jerzy Walden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfried Hollstein came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Anton Galen. But to his dismay, Anton Galen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin booed when Joga Bonito 1893 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murat Maislinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. When SC Wacker 04 e.V. Hans Reese's late challenge caught a Joga Bonito 1893's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Reese helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Reese to maneuver through the defense. Laurent Frister didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Langmaier in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gottfried Hollstein saved Joga Bonito 1893 from getting behind. Jerzy Walden kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Langmaier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Max Pentz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Gottfried Hollstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Galen in the 63rd minute of the match. Jan Langmaier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfried Hollstein having to interfere. Klemens Hemmel kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Alvar Korte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurent Frister having to interfere. Jan Langmaier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Galen in the 79th minute of play forced Joga Bonito 1893's goalkeeper Gottfried Hollstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matteo Kasseckert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gottfried Hollstein having to interfere. Matteo Kasseckert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Gottfried Hollstein made a huge save. With an all-out effort, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Gottfried Hollstein threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anton Galen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin booed when Joga Bonito 1893 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Walden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerzy Walden struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Laurent Frister didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito 1893. In the 94th minute, Marco Hetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
