Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Béla Deck made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Petrolul's Sebastian Selle got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Adriano Knorra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Mattern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Mattern took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Knorra. Adriano Knorra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Petrolul's Hansel Golz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Mersmann in the 14th minute of play. Hansel Golz made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Hagen Buch sent off a good shot on target. Dante Mersmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansel Golz having to interfere. Eilert von Puttkammer came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hansel Golz could save by the left post. 31 minutes into the match, Petrolul's goalkeeper Hansel Golz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eilert von Puttkammer. Pinkas Reiland made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Petrolul's Lester Aumann. Hansel Golz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolai Domeier, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Piggie's Dante Mersmann got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dante Mersmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Béla Deck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Dante Mersmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hansel Golz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adriano Knorra came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Petrolul's Béla Deck. But to his dismay, Béla Deck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Hansel Golz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eilert von Puttkammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 74 minutes of play, FC Piggie's Dante Mersmann made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hansel Golz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eilert von Puttkammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansel Golz having to interfere. Petrolul's Lester Aumann managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Thorben Tandler in the 82 minute of the game. Linus Mattern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adriano Knorra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, FC Piggie's Eilert von Puttkammer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hansel Golz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 89th minute, Petrolul's Béla Deck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. When the match was over Petrolul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Piggie throughout the match.
