But to his dismay, Bart Paetz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bart Paetz got free with Hansjürgen Kumpf in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Jörg Wadehn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjürgen Kumpf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Jörg Wadehn took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Hansjürgen Kumpf to make any attempt to save it. In the 33rdth minute of the game Luka Ostermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bortfeld's Golo Nikoleit was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Siebenbergen's zone, Jörg Wadehn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hansjürgen Kumpf came out of the goal and Jörg Wadehn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heiko Waidler got free with Hansjürgen Kumpf in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Anthony Töller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wolf Debus kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Wolf Debus took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hansjürgen Kumpf. Hansjürgen Kumpf dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 84th minute Jörg Wadehn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hansjürgen Kumpf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bortfeld's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
