Spectators: 8035 (Terracing: 6027, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 160) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Octavian Basten started the match with the kick off. Mesut Özil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Romeo Rudinsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zonguldakspor's Romeo Rudinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Basten in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Anestis Kotsopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Romeo Rudinsky was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 10 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Anestis Kotsopoulos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Rudinsky was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Anestis Kotsopoulos sped through Zonguldakspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romeo Rudinsky. Octavian Basten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeo Rudinsky didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Romeo Rudinsky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Octavian Basten's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Romeo Rudinsky made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 28th minute of play. Octavian Basten took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Rudinsky. Romeo Rudinsky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Octavian Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Rudinsky having to make a save. Zonguldakspor's Romeo Rudinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Basten in the 33rd minute of play. Larry Zedi hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Maximilian Henning tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Octavian Basten sped through Zonguldakspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romeo Rudinsky. Anestis Kotsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Anestis Kotsopoulos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Rudinsky was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10.

With a little luck, Zonguldakspor's Romeo Rudinsky got control of the ball when Mesut Özil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octavian Basten had several of the Zonguldakspor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-11 score and a disappointed Romeo Rudinsky as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Octavian Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor's goalkeeper Romeo Rudinsky had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Haupt. Romeo Rudinsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Özil in the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Anestis Kotsopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Rudinsky. Zonguldakspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. 67 minutes into the game, Mesut Özil cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Romeo Rudinsky was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Rot-Weiss-Essen fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Rot-Weiss-Essen's Octavian Basten looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-15 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 78th minute, Kryspin Banach made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Rudinsky. Zonguldakspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-16. In the 85th minute, Octavian Basten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the game, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Octavian Basten nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeo Rudinsky made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-18. After 90 minutes of play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Octavian Basten made it 0-19 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romeo Rudinsky was left in no man's land by his defense there! Octavian Basten in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Romeo Rudinsky, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Octavian Bastens short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Romeo Rudinsky to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match was over Rot-Weiss-Essen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zonguldakspor throughout the match.
