In the 2nd minute, Ludo Muth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Stageman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. OFK Bratstvo's Bruno Stageman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balko Murschel in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Ludo Muth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Stageman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of OFK Bratstvo booed when Langereihe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andi Haase didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Holger Strohmayer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Klaus Fydrich. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 20th minute, Günther Myszka made a precise shot to the right of Klaus Fydrich. Langereihe FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Langereihe FC's Balko Murschel got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Langereihe FC's Klaus Fydrich proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Langereihe FC from getting a goal against them. If Holger Strohmayer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Günther Myszka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Klaus Fydrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Günther Myszka took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Klaus Fydrich to make any attempt to save it. Langereihe FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Holger Strohmayer scored to the left of an out of position Klaus Fydrich, making the score, 4-1. The supporters of Langereihe FC booed when OFK Bratstvo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Meinhardt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Pape in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Stageman saved OFK Bratstvo from getting behind. Klaus Fydrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Günther Myszka went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ludo Muth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Stageman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. OFK Bratstvo were furious when Eros Hillmann was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for OFK Bratstvo! Bruno Stageman came out of the goal in the 49th minute to try and stop a shot by Langereihe FC's Eyjölfur Krieglmeier. But to his dismay, Eyjölfur Krieglmeier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

In the 54th match minute, Langereihe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balko Murschel to maneuver through the defense. If Günther Myszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaus Fydrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Günther Myszka in the 66th minute of the match. Bruno Stageman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludo Muth in the 68th minute of play. OFK Bratstvo made a substitution. Alex Orth replaced Gustav Vogel. In the 72nd minute, Torsten Meinhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Franz Pape managed to get in a good position for a shot. Langereihe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Pape was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Stageman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th match minute, Langereihe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franz Pape to maneuver through the defense. Andi Haase hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Konstantin Nicklis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Klaus Fydrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günther Myszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaus Fydrich having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Özkan Şahin managed to get in a good position for a shot. OFK Bratstvo's supporters rose to their feet, but Özkan Şahin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaus Fydrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Klaus Fydrich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Günther Myszka in the 98th minute of play. The supporters of OFK Bratstvo booed when Langereihe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andi Haase didn't get a good kick on the ball. 99 minutes into the match, Günther Myszka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Fydrich. Langereihe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Günther Myszka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-3. OFK Bratstvo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
