Spectators: 7148 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iker Kinkeldey kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Sergio Zsack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philipp Lahm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pascal Oppermann having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Klemens Paula made a precise shot to the right of Pascal Oppermann. Wacker Gotha 1895's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When VfB Deizisau's Klemens Paula in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wacker Gotha 1895's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the game, VfB Deizisau's Joel Caldas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pascal Oppermann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 15th minute, Peter Oyan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascal Oppermann was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. VfB Deizisau's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Philipp Lahm in the 21st minute. The corner led VfB Deizisau's Philipp Lahm to fire away a dangerous shot which Pascal Oppermann despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Wacker Gotha 1895 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Sponagl to maneuver through the defense. Jens Achenbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Kinkeldey in the 26th minute of play. Monty Moschner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jens Achenbach made a huge save. VfB Deizisau's Jens Achenbach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save VfB Deizisau from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, VfB Deizisau's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Sponagl came free, but Jens Achenbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Monty Moschner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens Achenbach. VfB Deizisau's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monty Moschner was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The VfB Deizisau fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when VfB Deizisau's Klemens Paula looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Jens Achenbach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Moschner, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Wacker Gotha 1895 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Monty Moschner hit a great ball. After 55 minutes, Klemens Paula made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. Wacker Gotha 1895's Pascal Oppermann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens Achenbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eckhard Tekes in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Wacker Gotha 1895's Eusebio Nölting got a free kick in the 69th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Pascal Oppermann successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Peter Oyan with Joel Caldas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 76th minute, Eckhard Tekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klemens Paula in the 77th minute of play forced Wacker Gotha 1895's goalkeeper Pascal Oppermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joel Caldas came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the VfB Deizisau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Caldas couldn't finish the play. Iker Kinkeldey took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Achenbach. Jens Achenbach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. In the 86th minute, Raphael Wegener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klemens Paula's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Pascal Oppermann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 95 minutes into the match, VfB Deizisau's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Kinkeldey came free, but Jens Achenbach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Wacker Gotha 1895 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching VfB Deizisau's performance. The match ended with a win for VfB Deizisau.
