Hanns Kienzle kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Iker Kinkeldey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arp Nonnenmacher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Iker Kinkeldey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Arp Nonnenmacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Wacker Gotha 1895 booed when Chelsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Richstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monty Moschner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Arp Nonnenmacher made a huge save. A collision led to Wacker Gotha 1895 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dimitar Bretschneider hit a great ball. Sergio Sponagl's late challenge caught a Chelsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Sponagl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Wacker Gotha 1895 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Sponagl to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Monty Moschner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arp Nonnenmacher was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Iker Kinkeldey took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arp Nonnenmacher. Arp Nonnenmacher dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Monty Moschner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arp Nonnenmacher having to interfere.

The wind increased when Georg Richstein made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Kinkeldey came free, but Arp Nonnenmacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Halil Bohlen in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wacker Gotha 1895's Eckhard Tekes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Moschner in the 59th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Arp Nonnenmacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Silvio Gorgs got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Chelsea's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Moschner came free, but Arp Nonnenmacher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Moschner in the 68th minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Arp Nonnenmacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Iker Kinkeldey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arp Nonnenmacher was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. After 72 played minutes Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Halil Bohlen. A collision led to Chelsea getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Silvio Gorgs hit a great ball. Iker Kinkeldey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Arp Nonnenmacher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Halil Bohlen kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Iker Kinkeldey might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arp Nonnenmacher. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iker Kinkeldey ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute, Sergio Zsack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wacker Gotha 1895 had played much better football throughout.
