Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Balko Murschel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Langereihe FC's zone, Merten Glaser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Fydrich came out of the goal and Merten Glaser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josef Griese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludo Muth in the 8th minute of play. Andi Haase took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Griese. Josef Griese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute Merten Glaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Fydrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Eltze's zone, Franz Pape stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Griese came out of the goal and Franz Pape tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Balko Murschel made a precise shot to the right of Josef Griese. Eltze's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Langereihe FC fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Langereihe FC's Balko Murschel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Josef Griese took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balko Murschel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz Pape took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josef Griese. Josef Griese dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franz Pape in the 38th minute of play forced Eltze's goalkeeper Josef Griese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Griese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ludo Muth, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Josef Griese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balko Murschel in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Langereihe FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franz Pape to make the kick off. With a little luck, Eltze's Josef Griese got control of the ball when Andi Haase tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Eltze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halldor Lantz to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute Merten Glaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Fydrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Merten Glaser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eyjölfur Krieglmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Merten Glaser in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Klaus Fydrich's left hand side. In the 66th minute, Esau Banke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Klaus Fydrich was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Eltze's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Franz Pape scored to the left of an out of position Josef Griese, making the score, 1-7. With a little luck, Eltze's Josef Griese got control of the ball when Balko Murschel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eyjölfur Krieglmeier's late challenge caught a Eltze's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eyjölfur Krieglmeier helped the player get up and apologised. Eyjölfur Krieglmeier hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Merten Glaser took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Klaus Fydrich. Langereihe FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Balko Murschel scored 1-8 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef Griese, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Griese made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balko Murschel in the 96th minute. Langereihe FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
