With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arp Nonnenmacher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hasso Ahlfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Chelsea's Alexander Baur slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaspard Renz. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasso Ahlfeld in the 21st minute of play forced Chelsea's goalkeeper Arp Nonnenmacher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arp Nonnenmacher came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Vlaicu99's Carl Ziehsow. But to his dismay, Carl Ziehsow quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Chelsea's Arp Nonnenmacher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hinterstocker in the 32nd minute of play. After 48 minutes of play, Vlaicu99's Leon Hennecke made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arp Nonnenmacher was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasso Ahlfeld to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Vlaicu99's Erik Hinterstocker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arp Nonnenmacher made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Hasso Ahlfeld put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Arp Nonnenmacher. Arp Nonnenmacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasso Ahlfeld in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Edward Perrey sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspard Renz skillfully saved the ball. Erik Hinterstocker succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 75th playminute. 79 minutes into the game, Leo Wolnik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vlaicu99 the free kick. The supporters of Chelsea booed when Vlaicu99 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Resch didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Halil Bohlen fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea's protests and gave Halil Bohlen a yellow card for diving instead. Halil Bohlen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Chelsea's Arp Nonnenmacher proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea from getting a goal against them. Arp Nonnenmacher made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Erik Hinterstocker sent off a good shot on target. Carl Ziehsow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arp Nonnenmacher having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Vlaicu99 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chelsea.
