The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Wacker Gotha 1895's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Stemmer came free, but Pascal Oppermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eckhard Tekes hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Benjamin Reichert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pascal Oppermann. Wacker Gotha 1895's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pascal Oppermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattis Jurgeleit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Iker Kinkeldey came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Wacker Gotha 1895 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Kinkeldey couldn't finish the play. Christoph Stegelmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The supporters of Wacker Gotha 1895 booed when Zonguldakspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mads Kopitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Rudinsky made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monty Moschner in the 18th minute. Iker Kinkeldey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Rudinsky having to interfere. Monty Moschner took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Rudinsky. Romeo Rudinsky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bryan Kampa kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Iker Kinkeldey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Rudinsky having to interfere. With a little luck, Zonguldakspor's Romeo Rudinsky got control of the ball when Monty Moschner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iker Kinkeldey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Wacker Gotha 1895's Monty Moschner got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Wacker Gotha 1895's Pascal Oppermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Stemmer in the 46th minute of play.

In the 52nd minute, Bryan Kampa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mattis Jurgeleit in the 55th minute of play forced Wacker Gotha 1895's goalkeeper Pascal Oppermann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Kinkeldey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Romeo Rudinsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iker Kinkeldey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Rudinsky read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Pascal Oppermann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pascal Stemmer went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute, Mattis Jurgeleit reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pascal Oppermann. The goal made the score 1-2. Mads Kopitz was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Zonguldakspor getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mads Kopitz hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Pascal Stemmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zonguldakspor and the Wacker Gotha 1895 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Zonguldakspor got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Stemmer. After a defensive mix-up in Zonguldakspor's zone, Eckhard Tekes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeo Rudinsky came out of the goal and Eckhard Tekes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iker Kinkeldey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 played minutes Zonguldakspor got a freekick which was hit by Mattis Jurgeleit. Romeo Rudinsky stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Sponagl's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Romeo Rudinsky came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wacker Gotha 1895's Sergio Sponagl. But to his dismay, Sergio Sponagl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Zonguldakspor succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Wacker Gotha 1895 had controlled the match.
