When Mads Kopitz fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zonguldakspor's protests and gave Mads Kopitz a yellow card for diving instead. Mads Kopitz kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Larry Zedi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Rollo Warth sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Romeo Rudinsky skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Zonguldakspor's Mads Kopitz got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of OFK Bratstvo booed when Zonguldakspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Griefahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Holger Strohmayer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Rudinsky having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Holger Strohmayer in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Rudinsky prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute Günther Myszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Rudinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute Holger Strohmayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Rudinsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günther Myszka in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Rudinsky saved Zonguldakspor from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascal Stemmer made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Zonguldakspor's Mattis Jurgeleit got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Timotheus Frey replaced Holger Strohmayer. OFK Bratstvo's Özkan Şahin got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Zonguldakspor's Romeo Rudinsky got control of the ball when Günther Myszka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zonguldakspor's Romeo Rudinsky played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timotheus Frey in the 75th minute of play. Günther Myszka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Rudinsky having to interfere. OFK Bratstvo's Ronny Wild was substituted for Karl Hellmich. Günther Myszka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Rudinsky having to make a save. Günther Myszka took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romeo Rudinsky. Romeo Rudinsky dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Özkan Şahin took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Romeo Rudinsky to make any attempt to save it. 95 minutes into the match, Zonguldakspor's goal looked a bit too open when Günther Myszka came free, but Romeo Rudinsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Zonguldakspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. OFK Bratstvo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
