Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iker Kinkeldey took the kick off in the first half of the match. Iker Kinkeldey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Josef Griese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingo Lütkebohmert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pascal Oppermann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merten Glaser's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Wacker Gotha 1895's Pascal Oppermann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Machold in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Merten Glaser in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pascal Oppermann saved Wacker Gotha 1895 from getting behind. In the 24th minute Merten Glaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Oppermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Uwe Gunselmann fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eltze's protests and gave Uwe Gunselmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th minute, Uwe Gunselmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the game, Manuel Machold threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wacker Gotha 1895's Monty Moschner quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Kinkeldey in the 33rd minute of play forced Eltze's goalkeeper Josef Griese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Monty Moschner came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Wacker Gotha 1895 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Moschner couldn't finish the play. Wacker Gotha 1895's Monty Moschner got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Merten Glaser made the kick off in the second half. Monty Moschner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Josef Griese made a huge save. Merten Glaser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascal Oppermann having to interfere. A collision led to Wacker Gotha 1895 getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sergio Sponagl hit a great ball. Iker Kinkeldey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Griese made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eckhard Tekes in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Wacker Gotha 1895's Eckhard Tekes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Josef Griese. Josef Griese yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. After having played for 74 minutes, Sergio Sponagl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wacker Gotha 1895's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Sponagl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute Merten Glaser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascal Oppermann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Georg Drews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascal Oppermann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Merten Glaser's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Wacker Gotha 1895's goal looked a bit too open when Ingo Lütkebohmert came free, but Pascal Oppermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Machold made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Esau Banke immediately put the ball in play. Wacker Gotha 1895 were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Eltze to leave the ground with a draw.
