When Karl Ils fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neversdorf's protests and gave Karl Ils a yellow card for diving instead. After 2 played minutes Neversdorf got a freekick which was hit by Karl Ils. Ralf Sitte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Schmitz in the 7th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Neversdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Kuhn came free, but Bertram Bovenschen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. At last the ball reached Mike Kopitz at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Neversdorf. 1-0. Neversdorf's Bertram Bovenschen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Kuhn in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Henriko Schowanek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Andlogic's goal looked a bit too open when Florian Brandi came free, but Ralf Sitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Neversdorf were awarded a corner. Konrad Oelke went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Konrad Oelke got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ralf Sitte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Karl Ils hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Andlogic got a freekick which was hit by Henriko Schowanek. In the 25th minute of the match Ursus Dreßel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ralf Sitte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bertram Bovenschen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernhard Thoma in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Andlogic's Simeon Wehners got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Konrad Oelke, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bernhard Thoma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Bertram Bovenschen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernhard Thoma got free with Bertram Bovenschen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ralf Sitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Brandi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandor Fabisch was the one to do the kick off. Bertram Bovenschen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Kuhn in the 52nd minute of play. Markus Kuhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertram Bovenschen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernhard Thoma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernhard Thoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertram Bovenschen having to interfere. Jorn Döll was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 75 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, one of Andlogic:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Andlogic. The referee gave Neversdorf a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Konrad Oelke, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Andlogic's Ralf Sitte. 2-1. Neversdorf's Bertram Bovenschen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Kuhn in the 81st minute of play. Freddy Hagen charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freddy Hagen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Freddy Hagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Neversdorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ursus Dreßel to maneuver through the defense.
