Alessandro Donnerbauer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekkehard Störmer in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Fritzdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ekkehard Störmer came free, but Alessandro Donnerbauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fritzdorf FSV's Boris Polenz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Morten Trittin. That made the score 1-2 after 18 minutes of play. Morten Trittin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Polenz went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacob Otte in the 29th minute of play forced Fritzdorf FSV's goalkeeper Alessandro Donnerbauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 played minutes Fritzdorf FSV got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Schamaitis. 33 minutes into the match, Fritzdorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ekkehard Störmer came free, but Alessandro Donnerbauer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Franco Galen notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC Peging's Morten Trittin. Morten Trittin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute Franco Galen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Trittin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morten Trittin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boris Polenz in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Fritzdorf FSV getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Sigmund Gerat hit a great ball. Alessandro Donnerbauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekkehard Störmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Galen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Donnerbauer made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ekkehard Störmer sent off a good shot on target. Morten Trittin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Arnold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Boris Polenz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fritzdorf FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. With a little luck, Fritzdorf FSV's Alessandro Donnerbauer got control of the ball when Ekkehard Störmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, one of Fritzdorf FSV:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fritzdorf FSV. Alessandro Donnerbauer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Akira Pfau. Jacob Otte kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When Franco Galen came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Fritzdorf FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Galen couldn't finish the play. Rudolf Arnold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fritzdorf FSV's Alessandro Donnerbauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Otte in the 73rd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Franco Galen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Ekkehard Störmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Donnerbauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 minutes of play, FC Peging's Ekkehard Störmer made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alessandro Donnerbauer was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Ekkehard Störmer got free with Alessandro Donnerbauer in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alessandro Donnerbauer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Otte in the 83rd minute of the match. Fritzdorf FSV's Alessandro Donnerbauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekkehard Störmer in the 84th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heinrich Furchner got free with Alessandro Donnerbauer in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Leif Flug in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Peging's Heinrich Furchner. Heinrich Furchner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fritzdorf FSV's Rudolf Arnold got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boris Polenz struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Morten Trittin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fritzdorf FSV.
