Amado Kaiet hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Loy Schwerinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristóf Mester having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 12th minute, but Kristóf Mester got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving FC Moas hanging dry this time. Oliver Scholl kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When Carsten Balke fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Moas's protests and gave Carsten Balke a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Aloys Metzler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jiang Ping received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Ole Per Köppen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jiang Ping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlo Piattelli to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Hansa's zone, Jiang Ping stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ole Per Köppen came out of the goal and Jiang Ping tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KFC Hansa's Aloys Metzler got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carsten Balke was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 62nd minute, Carsten Balke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 65 minutes, Murathan Kutcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Hansa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murathan Kutcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Loy Schwerinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joost Schlüter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KFC Hansa's Joost Schlüter got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The KFC Hansa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Moas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
