With his leg Jörg Wengle managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when FC Donautal's Eckhard Girrbach fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 5 minutes into the game, Wüllenrath's Davor Ammann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthew Hildebrand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eckhard Girrbach got free with Jörg Wengle in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Davor Ammann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caspar Cabada kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Jörg Wengle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Werner Baumbach. Wüllenrath's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Caspar Cabada scored to the left of an out of position Jörg Wengle, making the score, 1-1. Caspar Cabada struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Jörg Wengle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Donautal. Jörg Wengle was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Panagiotis Vrisimitzakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Panagiotis Vrisimitzakis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Wüllenrath's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Caspar Cabada 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caspar Cabada made a kick off. Caspar Cabada kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Markus Hofmeier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Hildebrand. The goal made the score 4-2. If Friedemann Burkert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute, Caspar Cabada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caspar Cabada in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörg Wengle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eckhard Girrbach came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Donautal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eckhard Girrbach couldn't finish the play. Davor Ammann kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, FC Donautal's Eckhard Girrbach made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörg Wengle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in FC Donautal's zone, Markus Hofmeier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthew Hildebrand came out of the goal and Markus Hofmeier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Wüllenrath booed when FC Donautal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedemann Burkert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörg Wengle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caspar Cabada went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. If Davor Ammann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörg Wengle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caspar Cabada in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Caspar Cabada made a precise shot to the right of Jörg Wengle. Wüllenrath's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Jörg Wengle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eckhard Girrbach went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Donautal had won after a very even match.
