The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Morten Trittin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Morten Trittin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murathan Kutcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. 16 minutes into the game, KFC Hansa's Loy Schwerinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Morten Trittin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Murathan Kutcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Hansa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Morten Trittin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joost Schlüter, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Aloys Metzler struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Morten Trittin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KFC Hansa. Ernesto Xabier might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ole Per Köppen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Xabier ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in FC Peging's zone, Murathan Kutcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morten Trittin came out of the goal and Murathan Kutcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Peging's Jacob Otte got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost Schlüter in the 46th minute of play forced FC Peging's goalkeeper Morten Trittin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Joost Schlüter made the kick off in the second half. KFC Hansa's Murathan Kutcan got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 52 minutes, Heinrich Furchner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Peging and the KFC Hansa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Heinrich Furchner kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Joost Schlüter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Morten Trittin came out and tried to block the shot, but Joost Schlüter slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 55th minute. The supporters of FC Peging booed when KFC Hansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Scholl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ekkehard Störmer scored 1-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ole Per Köppen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ekkehard Störmer fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Peging's protests and gave Ekkehard Störmer a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes FC Peging got a freekick which was hit by Ekkehard Störmer. After a rather tough play, FC Peging's Akira Pfau got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 92nd minute Joost Schlüter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morten Trittin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murathan Kutcan scored 1-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Morten Trittin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Peging supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KFC Hansa's performance. The match ended with a win for KFC Hansa.
