Jörg Wengle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Rösler in the 13th minute of the match. Jörg Wengle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Rösler in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otto Knauf in the 17th minute of play forced Wüllenrath's goalkeeper Jörg Wengle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Kreibisch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Klause in the 20th minute. Stefano Nork sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Stierstadt FSV's Jan Kreibisch got control of the ball when Markus Hofmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ferdi Wirth kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Wüllenrath's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Knauf came free, but Jörg Wengle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wüllenrath's Jörg Wengle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hannes Rösler in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Wüllenrath's Jim Kaufmann seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jim Kaufmann the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wüllenrath protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jim Kaufmann had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 33rd minute, one of Wüllenrath:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Wüllenrath. Wüllenrath's Davor Ammann got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Stierstadt FSV's goalkeeper Jan Kreibisch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens Feuereisen. 45 minutes into the match, Hannes Rösler notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wüllenrath's Jörg Wengle. Jörg Wengle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Davor Ammann made the kick off in the second half. When Hannes Rösler came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Stierstadt FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Rösler couldn't finish the play. Jörg Wengle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Allensbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Stefano Nork sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Otto Knauf could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jörg Wengle made a huge save. Iker Ewen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörg Wengle was a little too slow when Hannes Rösler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-4. Lars Bowermann charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Bowermann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 84th minute, Lars Bowermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Wüllenrath's Norman Blomme in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Stefano Nork fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörg Wengle having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Wüllenrath's goalkeeper Jörg Wengle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Knauf. Jörg Wengle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Rösler in the 90th minute of play. Stierstadt FSV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
