Carlo Piattelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Kreibisch having to interfere. When Carlo Piattelli came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the FC Moas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlo Piattelli couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, FC Moas's goalkeeper Kristóf Mester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Allensbach. Anton Allensbach took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristóf Mester. Kristóf Mester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Stierstadt FSV's Arne Plückebaum got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute of the game Wulf-Dieter Bialke made a throw-in which Stefano Nork played forward. The supporters of Stierstadt FSV booed when FC Moas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmuth Spahn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Kreibisch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Piattelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jiang Ping fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Kreibisch having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hannes Rösler to strike the kick off in the second half. Jiang Ping received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Jan Kreibisch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Kreibisch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Mozzoni in the 58th minute of the match. Alfonso Mozzoni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jan Kreibisch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Moas's Alfonso Mozzoni slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan Kreibisch. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. The supporters of FC Moas booed when Stierstadt FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemo Bucher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiang Ping could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Jan Kreibisch made a huge save. After some careless play in the Stierstadt FSV defense, Eike Schachten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Kreibisch. The Stierstadt FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Kreibisch should have stopped the shot. After having played for 84 minutes, Anton Allensbach managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stierstadt FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Allensbach was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Stierstadt FSV getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Iker Ewen hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Jiang Ping took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Jan Kreibisch to make any attempt to save it. Kristóf Mester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Knauf went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. The Stierstadt FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Moas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
