Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Clemens Havemann made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpected shot in the 3rd minute by Mischa Jensen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Clemens Havemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Clemens Havemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Tiggelkamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Grüna's Birk Kreuzer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torsten Gmelin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Clemens Havemann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Tiggelkamp was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Marco Wannemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Birk Kreuzer made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Grüna's zone, Lukas Milles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Tiggelkamp came out of the goal and Lukas Milles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, Marschhorst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sönke Blechschmidt to maneuver through the defense. Birk Kreuzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Torsten Gmelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Gaston Volkmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torsten Gmelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Marschhorst's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Ackermann came free, but Torsten Gmelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Clemens Havemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Grüna's goalkeeper Gunnar Tiggelkamp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lukas Milles. Marco Wannemaker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grüna's Gunnar Tiggelkamp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Grüna from getting a goal against them. Clemens Havemann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Lukas Milles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marschhorst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Milles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Tiggelkamp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lukas Milles in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the match, Clemens Havemann tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gunnar Tiggelkamp saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Grüna's Gunnar Tiggelkamp got control of the ball when Lukas Milles tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Clemens Havemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grüna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
