The supporters of Fritzdorf FSV booed when Wüllenrath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens Feuereisen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alessandro Donnerbauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Feuereisen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute, Boris Polenz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Franco Galen made a precise shot to the right of Jörg Wengle. Wüllenrath's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 15th minute Jens Feuereisen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Donnerbauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Angelo Klause ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro Donnerbauer was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Fritzdorf FSV's Alessandro Donnerbauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Feuereisen in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Wüllenrath's Jens Feuereisen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alessandro Donnerbauer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markus Hofmeier made a kick off. Angelo Klause received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alessandro Donnerbauer came out and tried to block the shot, but Angelo Klause slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 56th minute. With 60 minutes on the clock, Thorbjörn Buttgereit commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Wüllenrath fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Fritzdorf FSV a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Franco Galen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wüllenrath's Jörg Wengle. 2-4. In the 68th minute, Franco Galen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörg Wengle was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Alessandro Donnerbauer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Feuereisen in the 72nd minute. Alessandro Donnerbauer made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Norman Blomme sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute Davor Ammann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Donnerbauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Donnerbauer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davor Ammann's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute, Lukas Jordan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davor Ammann in the 86th minute of play forced Fritzdorf FSV's goalkeeper Alessandro Donnerbauer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rudolf Arnold managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fritzdorf FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Arnold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörg Wengle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Piet Posch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davor Ammann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Donnerbauer having to interfere. The Fritzdorf FSV fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wüllenrath were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
