Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Birk Kreuzer took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Wannemaker in the 3rd minute of play forced Oberlandscheid's goalkeeper Dominik Schwab to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Berger's late challenge caught a Grüna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Berger helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Oberlandscheid's zone, Hans Ackermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Schwab came out of the goal and Hans Ackermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hans Ackermann struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Dominik Schwab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grüna. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Hans Ackermann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grüna's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Ackermann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominik Schwab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Grüna getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jörg Wingert hit a great ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Grüna's goalkeeper Gunnar Tiggelkamp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Oberlandscheid got a freekick which was hit by Arno Flamme. Mischa Jensen's late challenge caught a Oberlandscheid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Mischa Jensen hit a great ball. After 26 played minutes Lars Kotter shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Grüna's Gunnar Tiggelkamp to catch but Lars Kotter was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 32 minutes into the game, Klement Bästlein recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dominik Schwab. Klement Bästlein showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Birk Kreuzer came free with the goalkeeper in the 38th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dominik Schwab could save by the left post. It was a well-played corner which Jens Bistritz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Grüna's Gunnar Tiggelkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Flamme in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Marco Wannemaker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grüna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Wannemaker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birk Kreuzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominik Schwab having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arno Flamme to strike the kick off in the second half. Gunnar Tiggelkamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Flamme, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Dominik Schwab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birk Kreuzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Marco Wannemaker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dominik Schwab was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Grüna getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jörg Wingert hit a great ball. Jörg Wingert hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Marco Wannemaker's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Schwab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Gisbert Kentzler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klement Bästlein took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dominik Schwab. Dominik Schwab dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Klement Bästlein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Grüna getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hans Ackermann hit a great ball. Gunnar Tiggelkamp acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lars Kotter. 89 minutes into the game, Marco Wannemaker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Dominik Schwab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oberlandscheid's Dominik Schwab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birk Kreuzer in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Grüna had played much better football throughout.
