Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Springender Hirsch's Arnold Koslow started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Don Danz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Torsten Gmelin made a huge save. 11 minutes into the game, Arnold Koslow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Torsten Gmelin. Arnold Koslow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 14th minute, Arnold Koslow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justin Iyidirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tombolo Wa Kadima Hohlfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Torsten Gmelin managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Springender Hirsch's Don Danz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sönke Blechschmidt hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Don Danz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the game, Springender Hirsch's Alfons Sprenger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torsten Gmelin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After some careless play in the Marschhorst defense, Arnold Koslow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torsten Gmelin. The Marschhorst fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torsten Gmelin should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute, Springender Hirsch's Don Danz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Torsten Gmelin. Torsten Gmelin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 41st minute Lukas Milles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Iyidirli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clemens Havemann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Springender Hirsch's Alfons Sprenger got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Justin Iyidirli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemens Havemann, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Springender Hirsch getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Don Danz hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Fiete Pitterle in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Springender Hirsch's Sixten Carstensen. Torsten Gmelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Danz in the 73rd minute of play. If Arnold Koslow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnold Koslow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torsten Gmelin having to interfere. Don Danz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Justin Iyidirli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tombolo Wa Kadima Hohlfeld in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Marschhorst booed when Springender Hirsch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnold Koslow didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Marschhorst getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Clemens Havemann hit a great ball. In the 94th minute Tombolo Wa Kadima Hohlfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justin Iyidirli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marschhorst's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Springender Hirsch had won, even though Marschhorst had held more of the ball.
