Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Virgil Degener got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Rosenfeld's goalkeeper Rudolf Harnack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Friedl Bruhn. After a rather tough play, Rosenfeld's Klemens Schramm got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 9th minute, David Wald reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolf Harnack. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 16 minutes, Elmar Appelt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosenfeld's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elmar Appelt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Udenborn's Virgil Degener dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Friedl Bruhn could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Rudolf Harnack however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Rosenfeld's Timotheus Decius got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rosenfeld's zone, Rollo Ringelnatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Harnack came out of the goal and Rollo Ringelnatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosenfeld's goalkeeper Rudolf Harnack, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudolf Harnack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Friedl Bruhn in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Rosenfeld's Rudolf Harnack got control of the ball when Friedl Bruhn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rosenfeld's Rudolf Harnack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rollo Ringelnatz in the 34th minute of play. Rudolf Harnack was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hartmut Kosch showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. After 46 played minutes Rosenfeld got a freekick which was hit by Klemens Schramm. When Boris Demitter fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosenfeld's protests and gave Boris Demitter a yellow card for diving instead. Boris Demitter hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Stanislaw Babetzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Appelt in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Udenborn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rollo Ringelnatz to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Harnack was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Rosenfeld's zone, Rollo Ringelnatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolf Harnack came out of the goal and Rollo Ringelnatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Hartmut Kosch ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Harnack was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 80 minutes into the match, Rosenfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Hartmut Kosch came free, but Rudolf Harnack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Friedl Bruhn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Rudolf Harnack was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 minutes, Rollo Ringelnatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Udenborn and the Rosenfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes Udenborn got a freekick which was hit by Rollo Ringelnatz. Rudolf Harnack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Degener, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Virgil Degener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Friedl Bruhn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Harnack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
