After a rather tough play, Duvenstedt's Chris Kuhlins got a free kick in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidor Radojewski to make the kick off. The supporters of Loquard booed when Duvenstedt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benny Mostert didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marcello Merz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Loquard fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcello Merz couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute Isidor Radojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Lejeune saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alois Thielemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Carlebach, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Loquard's Alois Thielemann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Carlebach in the 85th minute of play. Alois Thielemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Kuhlins, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Loquard's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Kuhlins came free, but Alois Thielemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steffen Michels hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Lewis Janssen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alois Thielemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alois Thielemann came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Duvenstedt's Jens Carlebach. But to his dismay, Jens Carlebach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Alois Thielemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Janssen in the 95th minute of the match. Mesut Kärgel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Loquard's zone, Jens Carlebach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alois Thielemann came out of the goal and Jens Carlebach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duvenstedt's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
