Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stanislaw Babetzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lewis Janssen, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Lewis Janssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Duvenstedt's supporters rose to their feet, but Lewis Janssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanislaw Babetzki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lewis Janssen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanislaw Babetzki having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Chris Kuhlins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hartmut Kosch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Lejeune having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Udenborn's Friedl Bruhn got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Omar Lejeune took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Degener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stanislaw Babetzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lewis Janssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens Carlebach in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislaw Babetzki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Jens Carlebach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Udenborn booed when Duvenstedt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Schelewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hartmut Kosch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens Carlebach in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislaw Babetzki saved Udenborn from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Rollo Ringelnatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Udenborn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duvenstedt the free kick. 44 minutes into the match, Udenborn's goal looked a bit too open when Jens Carlebach came free, but Stanislaw Babetzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jens Carlebach to make the kick off. Stanislaw Babetzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens Carlebach, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Udenborn's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jens Carlebach fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lewis Janssens short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Stanislaw Babetzki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lewis Janssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Udenborn's Friedl Bruhn got a free kick in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lewis Janssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benedikt Igelbüscher kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Benedikt Igelbüscher charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedikt Igelbüscher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Udenborn's Octavian Frank tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Benedikt Igelbüscher kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Hartmut Kosch came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Udenborn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hartmut Kosch couldn't finish the play. Udenborn's Stanislaw Babetzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Udenborn from getting a goal against them. Chris Kuhlins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lewis Janssen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Stanislaw Babetzki made a huge save. After 93 played minutes Udenborn got a freekick which was hit by Friedl Bruhn. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Duvenstedt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
