Pinkus Schmidtmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egidius Pfitzner in the 5th minute of the match. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Volkmer's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. If Karl Gabler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimund Polskis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis had great luck who in the 20thth minute grab hold of the ball when Harald Volkmer from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 21st minute, Matthias Kurbjuweit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harald Volkmers short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Harald Volkmer who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 28 minutes, Matthias Kurbjuweit made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Oberagger FSV's Pinkus Schmidtmann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 33 minutes, Harald Volkmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oberagger FSV and the KFC Uerdingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. KFC Uerdingen's Edgar Ritzmann was substituted for Raik Welskop. The supporters of KFC Uerdingen booed when Oberagger FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Volkmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from René Krumrei. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, Matthias Kurbjuweit notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Oberagger FSV's Pinkus Schmidtmann. Pinkus Schmidtmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pinkus Schmidtmann was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Karl Gabler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl Gabler really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 63rd minute of the match Recep Talha Tekgül shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oberagger FSV's goalkeeper Pinkus Schmidtmann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Volkmer's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes, Harald Volkmer made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Uerdingen's Klaus-Dieter van Hoddis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Otto Seifert made in the 78th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Harald Volkmer. After 79 minutes, Otto Seifert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oberagger FSV and the KFC Uerdingen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Oberagger FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Seifert to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the game, Adalbert Naber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oberagger FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Uerdingen the free kick. Pinkus Schmidtmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Kurbjuweit, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Matthias Kurbjuweit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Oberagger FSV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KFC Uerdingen's performance. The match ended with a win for KFC Uerdingen.
