With a little luck, Fürsetz's Erhard Behrmann got control of the ball when Per Schrag tried to sneak it across the goal line. Matthias Dowe kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Gunnar Dagdelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Griebling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Dagdelen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilken Conrad in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to sv Glehn getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ernst Kramer hit a great ball. sv Glehn's Gunnar Dagdelen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Seiler in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the game Per Schmid made a throw-in which Knut Herbst played forward. Dominik Griebling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severin Seiler came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Fürsetz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severin Seiler couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Fürsetz booed when sv Glehn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Nonnenmacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Ganther to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilken Conrad might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Dagdelen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilken Conrad ran back to his position shaking his head. After recieving a nice pass, sv Glehn's Ernst Kramer tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, sv Glehn's Matthias Dowe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erhard Behrmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Matthias Dowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute.
