Gunnar Dagdelen was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Elmar Appelt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elmar Appelt really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, sv Glehn's Gunnar Dagdelen got control of the ball when Peter Spoden tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rudolf Harnack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otto-Stephan Trachsel in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Dowe during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 39th match minute, sv Glehn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthias Dowe to maneuver through the defense. Gunnar Dagdelen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Elmar Appelt sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Schrag to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, sv Glehn's Benjamin Vogel got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 62nd minute Matthias Dowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Harnack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elmar Appelt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the game, Peter Spoden landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 65 minutes of play sv Glehn's Matthias Dowe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to sv Glehn getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Matthias Dowe hit a great ball. Morris Dittrich charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Morris Dittrich the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, Morris Dittrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rosenfeld's Nuri Heim got a free kick in the 79th minute. After 84 minutes, Benjamin Vogel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sv Glehn and the Rosenfeld players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rosenfeld booed when sv Glehn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Vogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Levan Manz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Otto-Stephan Trachsel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The sv Glehn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Although Rosenfeld had been in control for most of the match, sv Glehn still came away with the win.
