After 33 played minutes Fenerbahce 1907 got a freekick which was hit by Michael Segner. Cosmo Danczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry May, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Peters in the 43rd minute of play forced Fischbach Bei's goalkeeper Cosmo Danczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Larry May kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Wisgalla got free with Ingemar Toupheksis in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Michael Segner's late challenge caught a Fischbach Bei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Fenerbahce 1907 booed when Fischbach Bei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position.
